Thank you for sending this video. It is beautiful and that farmer is a very wise and loving human being. I am wondering if you are familiar with Biodynamic Agriculture. When you speak about your connection to the land and soil and to your work as farmers, you speak the same sentiments my biodynamic farming friends convey. I’m including a link FYI. Heartbeet Lifesharing in Hardwick VT is a community for folks with special needs and it is a biodynamic farm. Here’s the link: https://www.biodynamics.com/biodynamics.html

    Warm regards,

Hi Lisa, Thanks so much for the link. We are familiar with biodynamic, though we are still learning a lot about it. We have some good friends in Alaska who are biodynamic farmers and have a beautiful farm. So far we are still in the beginning stages of understanding it, but it seems that biodynamic, like farming in general, is a constant learning process which I love. Edge and I have met some folks from Heartbeet at Applecheek Farm, but haven’t been up there to visit. Thanks again for the link! Best~Katie

Hey guys. Like the video a lot.

“The soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life.” Wendell Berry
