As winter and spring intermingle a bit, we are even more thankful for a barn and a closed seed house. Our sheep don’t seem to mind the yo-yo of weather, though, and are just as happy to be outside in snow and rain as they are in the sun, which is one reason we love Icelandics: they are hardy. It’s amazing how much Acorn has grown in just one week, and we love watching her run to catch up with her mama and do little kicks in the air. We are looking forward to the birth of more lambs to give Acorn some friends. Though they are known to be on the wilder side when it comes to breeds, and tend to be more feral, even Icelandics will cuddle up for some alfalfa pellets–their favorite treats…
