
Guess what? Edge is sowing the first tomato seeds of the year today!
While it will still be quite some time before we slice into a Rose de Berne (my all around favorite tomato), the simple act of planting seeds brings a new kind of energy.
It’s as if I can feel the season shifting from solid winter into the whispers of spring. Despite the snow that covered up last week’s warm weather, the movement of spring has sprouted here at the farm.
You’ll get a taste of spring with the greens, herbs and scallions in this week’s share. Plus, we’re bringing in a treat for you: apples from Champlain Orchards! Check out the apple & carrot superhero muffins below.
