Big news — we’re opening a Farm Store in Worcester Village!
The new store will be a place where you can get local goods year-round, including vegetables, eggs, meat, dairy, maple syrup…and even coffee.
How? Where? When? You ask —
We’re purchasing the Post Office Cafe business and transforming it into the Good Heart Farm Store.
We’re so grateful to Leslie and Betsy, who we’re purchasing the cafe from, for creating the well-loved community space we’ll be moving into, and grateful to the Vermont Farm Fund for helping us fund this venture!
While we’re still determining the specific schedule, you can expect a local foods grocery open 5 days a week, open to the entire community. Whether or not you’re a CSA Member, you’ll be able to shop for your weekly veggies and more right in the Village.
And for CSA Members…the Summer CSA just got better.
Beginning in June, CSA Members will be able to pick-up their share at the Farm Store anytime we’re open.
The core of the CSA will stay the same, with Members receiving a curated share each week. Beyond that, Members will be able to purchase other local goods at the CSA pick-up, and get 10% off any additional purchases.
There’s so much more to share and many details to come.
For now, though, we’re celebrating that we can finally share this news with you, and we’re excited to be able to offer local food to our community in a new way that goes beyond the traditional CSA.
At the heart of the Good Heart Farm Store is the mission to increase local food access, support local producers, and strengthen our local food system.
CSA Members are a huge reason we’re able to grow and start this new store. Summer CSA Share sign-ups are open now, and you can sign up for a share here.
For the last 10 years, CSA Members have been the heart of our farm, and we can’t wait to welcome you and the wider community into the store this summer. Until then, we’ll keep you posted on the changes to come.
Thanks for being part of this growth with us!
In Good Heart,
Katie & Edge
