Full Season Share: 1258 $997*

*Save over $260 (more than 20%) on your Full Season Share when you sign up and pay in full by November 30.

The Full Season Share gives you all four shares: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, for the best price.  (See descriptions of each share below.)  Plus all CSA Members get FREE pick-your-own flowers July – September. 

Each week you’ll receive a share of seasonal, organic vegetables.  Choose to pick-up in Montpelier on Mondays, or in Worcester on Fridays.

WINTER CSA SHARE: $275 $247.50

Bears hibernate, but local food doesn’t!  Eat local all winter long with the Good Heart Winter CSA.  Each week choose from a variety of roots, including potatoes, carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, parsnips, and sweet potatoes.

Add a dose of green with spinach, kale, chard, and mesclun, harvested fresh from the greenhouse.

And for those cold nights when you just don’t feel like cooking, or you need a pre-made side dish, grab a pantry item from the CSA share—sauerkraut, applesauce, pumpkin soup, and more.

Pick-up locations:

  • Worcester:  Town Hall, Fridays, 4:30 – 6:30
  • Montpelier: Skinny Pancake/City Center, Mondays, 4:30-6:00

Sample share:

  • 3 lbs roots: choose from potatoes, carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, parsnips, sweet potato.  These will be available each week so you can choose what you want from week to week.
  • Greens: a bunch of kale or chard, or a bag of mesclun or spinach
  • Choice between 2 lbs of onions, 2 heads of garlic, 1 bunch of leeks
  •  Pantry item: rotating choice of pre-made pantry items, including sauerkraut, pumpkin soup, applesauce, and more.

Spring CSA share : $213 $191.70

March 18 – May 31, share price reflects a 10% discount off market prices

After a long winter, the Good Heart Spring Share will lighten your step and have you feeling like a sunny spring day.  But don’t take our word for it—one CSA Member told us, “This share made me feel vibrant!”

The Spring share features all the best of early spring freshness: mesclun, spinach, kale, chard, baby beets, hakurei salad turnips, radishes, and fresh herbs.

Pick-up locations:

  • Worcester: Town Hall, Fridays, 4:30 – 6:30
  • Montpelier: Skinny Pancake/City Center, Mondays, 4:30-6:00

Summer CSA SHARE: $495 $445.50 

June 3 – September 20, price reflects 10% discount off market prices

Pick up locations:

  • Worcester: Good Heart Farmstead, Fridays 3:00-7:00
  • Montpelier: Union Elementary School, Mondays 4:30-6:30.

From fresh greens to juicy tomatoes and hearty roots, our Veggie & Herb CSA offers a plethora of local goodness from June-September.  

Our certified organic veggies and herbs are grown only with the good stuff: water, sunlight, compost and love.  Which means they taste delicious and make you feel great!

The CSA gives you an average of $30.90 of veggies per week and runs for 16 weeks.

Let’s break it down this way:

  • When split between 2 people, the CSA cost is just $15.45/wk per person, or $2.20/day per person.
  • When split between 4 people, the CSA cost is just $7.72/wk per person, or $1.10/day

 FALL HARVEST CSA $275 $247.50

September 23 – November 25

The Fall Harvest Share features hearty greens, mesclun, a variety of roots, winter squash and farmstead seasonal preserves, and wraps up at Thanksgiving.

Each week includes an allium (garlic, onions, leeks, shallots), 3 lbs of roots (choices of beets, carrots, potatoes, turnips, radishes), fresh greens (lettuce, kale, chard, collards), plus items such as brussles sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, fennel, kohlrabi, celeriac, and winter squash.  Choices of select farmstead seasonal preserves—pesto, roasted tomatoes, sauerkraut, and our magic soup starter—will be included in November.

  • Worcester: Good Heart Farmstead, MONDAYS 4:00-7:00
  • Montpelier: Union Elementary School, Mondays 4:30-6:30.

You can pay for your CSA share by check, eCheck, EBT/SNAP, PayPal, or debit/credit card*. 

*Please note there is a 2.9% +.25¢ processing fee added to paypal and card transactions.  Thanks so much for understanding.  You’re welcome to avoid this processing fee by paying with check or echeck.

Once you sign up, we’ll email you a confirmation and an invoice within 48 hours .  A minimum of $150, or the first payment in the payment plan, is due within 7 days of signing up to reserve your share.

Subsidized Shares are available through the NOFA-VT Farm Share Program, and can be paired with EBT payments

In order to make shares available to low-income community members, we have partnered with the NOFA Vermont Farm-Share Program.  This program subsidizes CSA shares for our neighbors who otherwise could not afford to join our CSA.   If you’re interested in receiving a share at half-price through this program, please contact us to learn more.
